One of the first things I’ve noticed when I came to Vienna was how it’s Baroque streetscapes and imperial palaces set the stage for the city’s artistic and musical masterpieces besides its coffee-house culture and design scenes.
Vienna literally takes you back in history with its infrastructure – leaving me astonished that I cannot help but asking myself how could they build all these masterpieces without today’s technology , tools , ect.
If I was to describe my taste , I am pretty much like Vienna. A mix of history and Modern world. I Prefer them both at the same place and the same time and so is Vienna. You can feel and imagine it’s past in it’s present.
Vienna is steeped in history with all its ambling palaces, elegant coffee houses and cosy wood bistro pubs. On the other hand , it’s at the cutting edge of design, architecture, contemporary art, and new directions in drinking and dining.
What I observed is that it does not only holds on to its traditions but also adds them in everything from fashion, macaroon and pop arts.
WHAT I HAVE PACKED & VOGUE'S GOLDEN CATWALK
Iam a packing expert. I always remember myself packing. This time I packed for four of us and for two totally different locations – Continents!
It was challenging. While its fall in Europe, in the Middle East , it was still summer. So long trousers vs shorts – Summer dresses vs long sleeved dresses.
In the end I managed and it was all well done! Good Girl.
My outfits were decided around the bags and shoes that I chose to bring with me. I picked a color theme and I opted for pieces that could go with both cities’ climate.
In this post I was wearing a fall color line dress with long sleeved dress. I paired it with those chic heeled slippers which were super comfy that I walked for hours without a single complain about them. As you can see my accessory choice is in black color to keep it safe.
It was extremely fun and inspiring to join the Vogue’s Fashion night out in Vienna with it’s Golden Catwalk and fashion shows. Check bellow the pictures from the show inspired by the fashion legend Audry Hepburn which was absolutely my favorite. Have you ever been to Vienna? Let me know in the comment bellow.
