THE TEA TIME
Afternoon Tea has been one of my traditional things to do while Iam in London.Tea Time could never be generic for me;I love the whole idea so much.I must admit that I am a big fan of Alice in WonderLand!I adore the setup.Beautiful tea sets,Cake stands, champagne fluets and clotted cream scones are a luxury that I indulge whenever Iam in London. This time, our Location was Parklane across Hyde Park–The Dorchester Hotel.
The Hotel Itself is luxurious and gorgeous.A very fantastic spot in London. The interior is divine. Each time we feel ourselves in a museum.Big Chandeliers,Golden architecture and the massive flower vases are located in every corner of the Tea Time Lounge. The stuff were more than eager to help us.Even in taking pictures. You got my credit for that gesture!
After a busy morning,I and my Husband decided to have Tea Time and spend some quality time with eachother despite our hectic few days in London. It really was the most perfect way to spend the afternoon.
We went for the Middle eastern Tea Time Menu. The menu consisted of a selection of Lebanese appetisers such as Falafel&Hummus. Small sandwiches- cucamber&chicken,Halumi cheese and salmon,Ham..Then came our cake stand with Macaroon,Cakes and off course the so British–Scones.
Our Tea selection was PARIS.The Tea itself was so good.
We enjoyed the food while listening to live piano. We were playing ‘Guess the song’ while sipping our tea.
I called the hotel to ask for the dress code.I was informed not to wear ripped Jeans.Casual Chic is the code.I was in my chanel flats in the morning for my meeting and I thought why not change into something girly yet trendy and high heels! My dress and shoes are an Asos found.Pastel colors and the flowers on my sandels fit perfectly with the theme of the Tea Time Lounge. My LV Alma bag is a perfect size, has a shoulder strap and I love this colour for the summer. It was a tough choice deciding between the Bluch Pink and Fushia, but I am so happy with my decision.Fendi bag charm added some fun to the whole outfit.
If you are a tea girl and have got a sweet tooth like me then an Afternoon Tea time in London is a must try.Treat yourself.
